When It Matters Most...Diane Markus

Diane is no stranger to perseverance, discipline, and setting and achieving her goals. Diane grew up playing various team sports which ultimately led to a soccer scholarship to play Division 1 soccer at Eastern Illinois University. Diane is not afraid to roll up her sleeves and dig into some hard work. Upon graduation, Diane pursued a career in Hospitality, joining Hyatt Hotels and Resorts and later the Morton’s of Chicago brand. Diane’s drive lead her to work her way up the ladder through both organizations and was a two-time President’s Club Award Winner with over two million dollars in sales in private events for Morton’s The Steakhouse. This success has followed her to the Delboccio-Marchetti, where she has grossed over $46 million in sales since 2016, and just recently has become a Diamond Elite Agent underneath our agents.

Diane grew up in Palatine and now resides with her husband and three children in Prospect Heights. Before moving to Prospect Heights in 2013, she and her family lived in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago for 12 years; making her knowledgeable of both City and Suburban locations. Diane is passionate about the community and enjoys spending time with her family outdoors, whether it be going for walks outdoors or coaching her kid's teams, let Diane show you why she loves living here.

Why I Chose Real Estate

My husband, who is a General Contractor, and I used his experience to tap into the Real Estate market by acquiring distressed apartment buildings, rehabbing them, and selling them for a profit. This quickly ignited the real estate “bug” in me and led to my career in Real Estate. My attention to detail and understanding of the renovation process gives me extra insight into all types of properties and potential home projects.

Here’s what our clients are saying about me:

"With so many Realtors® to choose from, it’s hard to know who you can trust and count on to sell your home. But for us, it was a no-brainer. Diane Markus Miyares is the utmost professional... she’s knowledgeable, she’s patient, she’s responsive and she wants what’s best for you and your family. Diane gave us great tips for staging our home and had beautiful photos taken, ensuring that we would get a ton of interest and traffic. She also guided us to price it just right, knowing that we needed to sell quickly. Sure enough, we had 4 offers in 5 days and accepted an offer at full asking price! If you want a seamless, low stress, positive selling experience, go with Diane...you won’t be disappointed!"

"Diane is incredible!! My husband and I were completely clueless on how to go about selling our condo and buying a house, and Diane was so patient with us as we asked so many questions. She got our condo sold within the first 24 hours on the market, above our asking price. Then, she helped us find our dream home and close in less than a month! The whole process was so smooth and seamless, because Diane was so communicative, not only with us, but with our attorney and lender as well. We are so, so lucky that we found her!"
